Ola Jean Anderson 1935 — 2024 Ola Jean Anderson ("Ola") was born on January 27, 1935, in Fentress, Texas, to Allie and Verdie (Daughtery) Williams. She met the love of her life, Israel Anderson Jr., and they married on October 16, 1953. Together they raised 10 children: seven boys: Clyde ("Hammie"), Tommie ("Cat"), Leroy ("Brown"), William George ("Babe"), Donald ("Dub"), Israel III ("Andy"), and Jody ("Bull"); and three girls: Carolyn ("Carol"), Joycelyn ("Snake"), and Josephine ("Melissa"). Ola received Christ at an early age, and became a member of Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church during her childhood and attended with her mother Verdie, who was also a member of the church.
